Just made the trip back from Dallas TX to NW Ark. No radar for most of the trip back except for the usual spots.
And about those usual spots: in OK, they have a law that limits the amount of funds that a police department receives from speeding tickets to 50% of their entire budget. It isn't enforced. There WILL be a cop waiting for you. Springtown generates 76% of their income from speeding tickets, Kiowa 65%, Atoka 72%. You know, your scummy little town with a cop with a bad attitude that gives all other LEO a bad name. May these towns rot away.

I now have even more hate against left land campers than before. The worst spot for left lane campers is on I49 between Fayetteville AR and Fort Smith AR through the Boston Mountains but they will be found everywhere on our highways. Through the Boston Mountains, there will be a long line of people camped out in the left lane as a Prius attempts and fails to pass a truck going up a mountain. Was forever getting trapped behind two vehicles traveling the same speed besides each other. Dante, in a much forgotten level of hell that was recently discovered set the 8th level for left lane campers in his book Inferno.
But at the end of the trip, plagued with road construction on I40 and I69, after I was caning it every chance I had, my wife smiles as she holds up her phone showing the time and claims that her best time is still 4 minutes faster. Crushed and overjoyed at the same time. Crushed because I still wasn't fast enough to beat her time, overjoyed that I have a wife that not only doesn't mind my speeding, set a time for me to beat.
