Sorry to hear. You don't have a laser interceptor system installed? I see it in your equipment list in your signature.

Do you know which lidar he got you with?

That's a good run. Think 5 years is my record detectorless and using local knowledge. That ended 2years ago driving down a hill in an area I hadn't travelled before. Even then, there was 2 cars in the photo. Other car travelling uphill had his brake lights on. So I'm still not 100% it was me, him or both of us. I argued it out to check the photo and they were sure it was me. That gave me the s**T's though, as lawyering up might cost a fair bit more for a low speed fine. Felt like I had to back down and pay basically as the easy way out, and from there I found rdforum in protest ha! Was looking around for countermeasures or something that could just give you a heads up in advance. Here I am today, active on the forum.
Still about a year until I get my licence points back. Actually... My car got stung last year as well, however (cough) that wasn't me driving. Prior to that, had heard nothing from traffic patrol for years.
You've done well. Unfortunate this time. You going to fight the ticket on a perfect record or just take it on the chin from the long arm of the law?

Did some digging. Arizona staties use Ultralyte 20-20s but I think their serial numbers are UX

Sorry to hear, and probably best to get you a lawyer who is part of the good ol' boy network to get that reduced.

Sorry to hear. I would agree you should fight it if it's a heavy fine plus insurance hike. Funny how the speeds are often 1 mph from 20 over. In some states 20 and over is a personal appearance so a person might as well fight it if they have to go to court. Good luck on this.

Luckily in AZ you should, with that civil ticket, be able to attend traffic school online. They will divert the ticket fees and you will probably pay about $220.00 but it won't impact your insurance. I just ended my 22 year ticketless streak. Same scenario, traded in my vehicle with ALP and hadn't gotten around to installing ALP on new vehicle.

Guess what I am doing this weekend - installing ALP :)

Bummer. Too bad he didn’t leave his K band on C/O like I sometimes see them do.

I have a PL4 loaned to me from a friend in Vegas til the new year. If you get installed before then I’ll test you. I assume you still have your 20-20 as well.

Well officially, you're still ticket free. That ticket doesn't go on your record unless you plead guilty (which you should never do) or get convicted in court. After you're done in court (or actually, even before you're done in court), get yourself some ALPs and make sure this doesn't happen again!

You were hit with a pro laser 4 with that serial number sequence.
+1 on this. Saw the PL4 for sale on ebay and that serial number is also LFxxxxx
