If possible, would appreciate seeing 3 G1/2 vs 2G1/2 and VPR on a large front end.

Also, would be interested in those with rear setups where placements options out wide are not possible.
I'm currently running 3 G1's in front and 2 G1's Rear (each upper corner of the license plate). I haven't gotten the VRP setup yet, but when I do, I'll get with @VariableWave for some testing.

What would be the recommendation for the VPR head on a bmw? Can it be vertical?
Of course I will be waiting on the official word but here is what I saw with IR camera...

In theory because of the + pattern the head could "maybe" be turned 90 degrees and still give protection. I will look closer at the pattern when I can and see how it compares.

Beam pattern is a + configuration with one horizontal and one vertical. In my limited testing, more to come, the vertical had a slightly different look to it. The horizontal had a nice and smooth look to it and the vertical was kind of "bumpy" (for lack of a better word) or I guess you could say not smooth but like a line of bright dots. I am not sure exactly what to call it but it looked different to me... it could just be me though.

One thing I did notice from the G1/G2 heads is the VPR has a different light concentration design of the beam... so it does definitely have a different quality from the other heads.

I can confirm it is a dual diode design with a cross shaped pattern. There is one horizontal and one vertical diode.

The IR transparent front cover seems to have been adapted from the G2 head part. That's why you see a round shape indicating where the lens on the G2 heads are. This artifact of sort is what causes the bumpy appearance over the vertical laser diode.

Overall I was told the VPR head was to enable more pulses to be shot without overdriving the diode. Not sure how that's possible with this design. I'm going to have to do some signal analysis to see if it's alternating the firing between the VPR and G2 heads.
