Light and radar are different things, the laser sensor has always been separate because it can't detect radar, and the radar sensor can't detect laser.

I saw an older post here showing the LIDAR and RADAR sensors to be joined by the metal horn, where as my LIDAR sensor stands on its own, not attached to the horn. I googled “M4 radar antenna” and saw mine doesn’t look anything like that

mine more resembles an S7 than an M4? Am I correct?

Seems like mine looks like an S7 but is ID’d as an M4. Look at the photos above

The S7 is a two piece horn with screws. Yours is the M4, one piece and uses the circuit board as the bottom. (cheap bastards)
Post automatically merged:

bottom = top in the case of the 9500ix since the horn is upside down

Here
The LIDAR sensor has never been a part of the horn itself, so that isn’t anything out of the ordinary. What is the FCCID on the device? It may be something on the bottom of the outside case that starts with QKL***

Thanks for the help guys. Yeah the FCCID confirms it’s an M4 but it just looked a bit different. Full ID is QKL95M4
