Well the state police got me today on a drive up to Philly for a Veterans day car event. Someone had to call the group of cars I was with in because there were 3 cops waiting and using laser.

Ended up with a ticket for no front tags ($70 and no points). They didn't pull the nsx over because he had out of state tags, but they did get the corvette with a warning for no front tag and a repair order for tint.

Anytime you can get pulled over and get off with a fine of under $100 with no points, it's still a good day in my book.
Have a great remainder of your car show holiday.

I want an NSX soooooo bad. :giggity:

But if I had one, I'd probably be in a lot of trouble. :pervert:

So they came out for that? Pretty desperate. Good God! I didn't see anything that bad. Sheesh!

Nope. He never bought up my speed. Just told me he pulled me over cause of no front tags.

The new nsx is growing on me.

Maryland get petty after they get calls about nice cars driving fast.

I guess so. Sheesh!

We have so many State Vultures now that they patrol county roads and harass seemingly SLOW drivers for nothing. I mean, drivers around here are so slow, you would think they're in a coma. It's sickening. But it didn't stop me from "high roller" triple digits to CT and back today. The White Ghost slips through! :ghost:

Looks like whoever called you in gave them a mouth full to illicit a response like that. I highly doubt they pull anyone else over for no front plate. I see people not run them and rarely get hassled. I will say sitting in the left lane knowing they were coming up might not have been the best....not to mention diving to the middle as soon as he I/O's you.

Vultures for sure.
Extortion just like the mafia. No difference.
But I want to say thank you guys for taking one for the team and saving some poor soul from a laser hit and a ticket for speeding. Even if they werent that much over, im sure these pigs would squeal anyway.

What probably happened was the MDSP got a call about a group of cars racing on the highway and set up shop to reel in some big fish. As such, they had to justify having three officers sitting in the same place and handed out some petty "fix it" tickets. It's not like the MDSP usually work in groups and then two of them pull out to hand out tickets for equipment violations.

Only time I get hassled for no front plate is when I’m with a group of cars doing a drive.
I was surprised he turned on his radar, I was doing the speed limit anyway when it happen.
