Good day all,

I currently run the Escort Max 360 in my 2019 CRV EX and have no real issues, but I am kind of feeling the upgrade bug.

I really like the looks and the reviews on the performance on the R7, will all the safety crap in the CRV make the R7 fairly chatty? It doesn't really set off anything on the 360 so I'm hoping/thinking that it'd be the same with the R7

I think if you run kblocm on you should be ok as that will filter out the crvs bsm as long as it still sits in the k block range

Keep the 360 and wait for RAI might be a good option, but we don't know even if it is close to release next year lol. I think you will have a lot of K band falses with the R7, unless you use K block and your CRV doesn't have the new K band range.

G39x, I was just reading on the new Radenso and was just thinking I may hold off and see how it performs when it's released.

That's good to know, thank you.
Try R7 with a vendor that takes 100% return in two-four weeks. Best Buy I think is 14 days, others online give 30 days. What is said above on your CRV, if it is the new BSM at 24.160 or so, the K block won’t catch it. There are reports as stated above, with new BSM, chatty Cathy. I know my R7 is getting bounced a bunch now with several Honda/Mazda using the newer frequency. If you can run it well, it will outperform the 360 platform enough to notice. I have them all and use them regularly. Hope that adds to your decision dats.

Radenso has stated their new tech is next year. Does not look like ”two weeks” from Jan 1, 2020 either. Later on. It will be cool. Also, the V1B, might play out before end of year. Who knows on that either.

if you want sure bet, and itching to add to the RD fleet, get the R7 and see how it does in your vehicle.

Well, with the Radenso looking like it may be a game changer and my itch to try something new, maybe I'll save a couple bucks and try the R3.

Are they able to filter bsm adequately? Also, nobody has a blendmount in town so I'd have to order one, how are the suction cup mounts? Personally, I've never had good luck with them

I have an R3 mounted in my wifes 2018 Honda Accord EX-L and it works well.
I have both my R7 and her R3 mounted above the RVM with this
I personally like these better than the blend mount.
I do use a blend mount with an R1 in my 16 Miata only because windshield space is limited and I have a Viofo A129 mounted on the windshield.
