1) the system thinks that the GPS antenna is disconnected. Nothing has changed and it's all internal wiring, so that makes no sense. I hit the "reset defaults & memorize sensors" button, downloaded my profile from online, but that didn't help. Suggestions?

2) it sees X band constantly even though I have that turned off in my profile.

3) it sees every k band everything everywhere all of a sudden.

So I have the whole system off right now which is frustrating, but less frustrating than listening to it constantly warn me about all of the above. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds like you have a corrupt settings file. Instead of downloading existing old file try creating a new one. Also if you have more than one antenna you need to change settings for each individually.

Is there some additional update expected soon? After this update, I still have a "1" next to my app icon. Is this expected? or how do I clear it? Thank you!

That is most likely your phone saying the app has a notification that you did not read.

The ALP app always has a '1' on it now. Ever since the update. I've looked at statistics, history, clicked on everything I can. It went away after selecting back to exit. But now that I reconnected, it's back. I'm not sure what ALP app notification I haven't read. And as with other apps, if you "clear" notifications they all go away. This one doesn't. No one else is seeing this? It's only after the update. So strange!

I think maybe it wants you to do something like update App, reset defaults, or reload configuration file, etc. Do you have Auto App Start or Auto Update on in App settings? If so maybe try turning them off.

I haven't seen any number by the ALP App before so just guessing, but if it won't go away I wouldn't ignore it. Let us know what you find.

I went online on the phone, changed the settings and downloaded a new file after I hit the reset/memorize button and there was no change? Do I need to download a file to a USB and start over?

I think I had some unique issue because I did the app update before I should have. Then I received my 2nd DSP which I installed and had a difficult time updating. I did a reset and went thru that process. Long story short - You were correct and I wasn't going to just leave it be. I did a reset again and downloaded the config file again and it finally cleared.

So the app was trying to tell me (without the actual message) to reset again and go thru the process. The notification is finally gone!

Cbbr, I was experiencing this as well with my notification issue. In the app, when you attempt to update your config, are you seeing "Profiles" unselected? and possibly the captcha is missing the math question?

Be sure to "Reset defaults & memorize sensors" again prior to the config file.
You will need to verify the "profiles" is checked AGAIN right before entering the correct math question. Scroll back up to verify.

Download and unless there is another issue, your config should be updated.

IF not, then download and install via USB. But when you go back to the APP, the same issue may occur until you clear your issue (at least that was my case).

The ALP app usually has a '1' on it now. Ever because the replace. I've checked out data, history, clicked on the entirety I can. It went away after deciding on lower back to exit. But now that I reconnected, it's again. I'm now not sure what ALP app notification I haven't examine. And as with other apps, if you "clear" notifications all of them go away. This one doesn't. No one else is seeing this? It's simplest after the replace. So atypical!

Try Update on the last screen. Also try updating the app itself on Google Play. If that doesn't work uninstall and reinstall the app. You will have to re enter the 4 digit PIN on the bluetooth module after reinstalling the app.

Can you post a screen shot of the phone displaying the notification icon?

Since the update started glitching I've removed my system from my car.
I get the R1 error (I have no R1). I don't run ALP in the city though either.
Hoping by next reinstall (very easy on my car, takes me about 10min to strip the whole system out/in), this is fixed via update. Such a good system but feel reliability is at stake when something is wrong. I'm sure it's still OK to use and operate, but then again I don't really know what's going on exactly, and my confidence in it is slipping. Until it's addressed, is there any way I can undo the update and back install to the previous version until this is ironed out? That was acting solid and smooth with no issues.

After writing that comment, linked up with a friend to go testing today. Wanted to see what's going on a bit more.
1500ft road length. Friend is driving slow. I'm on the gun, seeing the system from the outside looking in for a change.
JTG every time.
Seems all good. Just the R2 thing.
