Just drove across the US, South Texas to Detroit. Virtually every speed trap had been reported on Google Maps. Only problem was that the voice alert to the traps was 30 seconds late. Made me worry what the retaliation to this will be. Although maybe it will the heat off of radar and laser detectors and thus slow down the radar laser arms race. If everyone knows where the traps are anyway, why would they spend money on the latest and greatest guns? If google decided to go this far I dont see them backing down and remove the feature. If I remember correctly the courts ruled in a CB radio case that information sharing like this is protected under the first amendment.
