The Laser tester is complete, and entering production. I should receive testers in the next few weeks. This is just a simple tester with one pulse rate. These will have the following..

- Aluminum alloy sensor head design.
- Micro USB port for rechargeable battery
- 100 pps (Pulse per sec) (No other pps )
- Testers Included in all future TMG sets

Testers can also be purchased separately.
MSRP- $49.99-$59.99

The diode inside fires the 100pps at the TMG heads. The tmg system will alert to it, and the diode will fire back at the tester. I strongly recommend using a IR camera recording,IR app or IR glasses to verify the diode is firing.

Ah, very cool! A tester that will actually make the heads fire; this is a welcome addition!!!

If it received and knew it was being jammed that would be cool, but I think that wouldn't be good if lidar manufacturers got ahold of that.
Not that technical... Just something to detect the pulses firing back. Not sure if reflections/noise in nature would allow this.

Or a feature of test mode could be to detect an odd ball pps like 500pps and fire 500pps back to alert the tester to a working diode (maybe add a test option called diode test? Idk maybe too close to ALP self test...).

The old testers would set off the TMG diode in jam mode.
