TMG has designed our own Laser testers, and we are hoping they will be ready for market by Mid October. I will look into providing testers with kits depending on my cost.

Which Lidar systems will your tester simulate?

This version is just One lidar system,Ultralite PPS,something simple to be able to include in the kits, and for the customer to test with.

Sounds great. LJ systems are costly and know that they are working well is likely worth a little bit bigger investment to many people.

While it true most people would like to know if their LJ are "Working Well". The only thing these testers actually do is tell you your system is receiving. The ONLY way to tell if your costly LJ system is protecting you, is testing with real Leo Lidar equipment.

The diodes will fire from the testers as well, but you're right on protection.

My mis-understanding, I though they were making more than a the equivalent pocket tester that ALP sells.

I have one of the multi-gun "keychain" testers....I think it came with my old LI system. It's really hard to get my dual TMG heads to react to the tester. I seem to remember the LI system was easy to trip with this tester. What I am worried about is do I have the early defective TMG heads? I was an early adopter with TMG. I am also running the latest firmware and gun update. I do know it goes off most of the time when a LEO is using laser but not all the time. Also if I jam to gun(yeah I know I shouldn't) the LEO doesn't give me the dirty look I use to get with the LI's.

Um...... sorry no. It's called testing. Once confirmed working I won't jam to gun. I have NO other way. Plus, they are not illegal here.
It is in no way a definite test of a working system. I've seen many drive thru a speed trap over the PSL and not got pulled over... did they definitely have had to jam the radar/lidar/or visual observation?
Dirty looks aren't an indication of ANYTHING

Will the firmware be updatable as new guns come out. (Rhetorical. Just following trends. LOL)

Some testers do not trip the TMG's. If your system is alerting to Law enforcement, operating lidar. Your system is fine. Remember officers can always hold the gun up to shoot, but actually not pulling the trigger.
