Bogey tone is for Ka onlyTried my R7 today and no luck with bogey tone alert with K band between 2 signals 24.155 and 24.147. Had my voice off, automute off and Quiet ride off. Wondered if it is because the source is too close ,too strong with your test? I will try the R3 in the next few couple days. Just trying to use the R7 in the next few days if I can duplicate a bogey alert tone and start using the R3 this coming weekend.

That's it. Not only once but twice. Did you had your "voice" on or off with your Ka frequency voice on? That was a very good capture in video. Are you using which RD? I use the same bogey tone alert.
Is this the bogey tone being discussed? Or is this an all threat tone if there's such a thing. This was my first encounter with this type alert.
So far it has been consistent with 2X DSR and I believe that was what @Dave G encountered. Other than that, I have not experience it with my R3 and R7 with any other real world encounters.
I have the same except for one. I have Ka filter off. I will try turning it on and will report back. Thanks for sharing your settings.I detected 3 Ka signals 34.77 34.72 and 34.78 so my guess would be that one of the Moto LEO's had both front and rear antennas on. I'm rather new to knowing the LEO technology but have been a RD user since the late 70's. Learning more every day from the RDF.
