Hi all.

It has been confirmed to me by Adaptiv that they are working on a car version of their excellent TPX jammer and they will be releasing a working version soon!

I will keep you guys updated as I get more information.

Nice! Seeing how well the bike version has done It will be interesting to see what they come up with and what price point they hit. Always good to have more options.

I'm not surprised and mentioned it when Vortex first tested it. It did quite well in initial testing and it was only a matter of time before they decided to expand beyond the two wheel market. It will be interesting to see where they go and what they have to offer in the future, Having another option isn't a bad thing.

Yeah they asked me about it and offered to send me a prototype earlier and now something a little closer to production ready. I declined since I don’t plan on going out and doing a bunch more proper laser testing in the immediate future. They said they have a number of people already who can help them with testing and development in the meantime though which is great. I’ll take a closer look at it once they get closer to launch (not in the immediate future.) :)

Based on the motorcycle version, the automotive one should be very competitive as well. I know they’re wanting to come out with a competitive price as well so it’ll be an interesting one when it comes out.

Right now the TMG is the affordable alternative to the ALP and the new TPX system I see as being a competitor to both, perhaps even more so the TMG. I guess it all depends on details like price, interface, jammer effectiveness, etc. :)

Yes, I am one of the volunteers for the car version.

It will be fun if it makes it to the december test .

This sounds cool- Im still up in the air about a system for the rear of my ride. My ZR5s perform JTG against the dreaded DE guns. So Im happy with my 4 head front setup. But they're a bit pricey. But if they save me from the Leos death ray I guess its worth it. But I still need protection for the rear, just not sure if another ZR5 system is what I want to spend. This may offer an alternative, will wait and see. I wonder if the dremel tool is in my future as the rear end of my ride is complicated. I want a 4 head setup for the rear, so my options seem few. Guess Ill just keep reading Vortex reviews and wait and see.

A true law enforcement software grade dragon eye probably from a far distance and only a second or two. All the others, sure. Proper measuring and calculations are critical to law enforcement grade dragon eye.
