Another example of how the Rangers only run C/O, that spot would be LETHAL with I/O. Somehow, he was marked on [D]aze.
Our little game is ending tied! Looks like we're gonna need a tie-breaker.
Park Ranger 1-1 DFR7

Nice catch. I had a very similar experience last week, with a forest service LEO. I would be toast if he/she was doing I/O.

Parked in that place and with that roads and scenery around him, he could bust a lot of people with I/O. He wouldn't even need to be very selective, just basic I/O and he would issue a lot of tickets IMO.

He actually nailed someone coming down the hill behind me! Maybe I should invest in a rear camera.
The reality is, so few people run countermeasures (even running Waze would save you here) that I/O just might not be worth it.
Nice video!
I take it that's a State Park?
Thanks,
Doc
Yes, Pinnacle Mountain State Park.

One of the worst tickets in my circle of friends was a park ranger on a scooter at Hammonasset state park. The roads are so sweeping and well paved and the PSL is 25mph. They were horsing around at about 45. They stopped him at the gate, didn’t even pursue!

Similar case here, roads are beautifully paved and fun to drive, PSL is 35. They'll get you!

From ARkaband "Maybe I should invest in a rear camera." May I ask what model front can You're running?
I'm still needing to fit a front dash can into the budget, but medical bills are having to take priority right now....even 'tho We can read about an encounter, video is so nice to have.

Park Rangers doing traffic enforcement! Interesting I've been to many Parks along the East coast and have never encountered any RRR "Radar Running Rangers" I'll have to keep an eye and ear on this.

I run the Viofo A118-Cv2. If you need a budget camera, check out the Yi dashcam and Samsung SD card combo. It'll run you only $60.

Yes, the rangers at Pinnacle Mountain always roll with C/O 35.5, can't speak for any other state parks.

In this areahttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delaware_Water_Gap_National_Recreation_Area
The US Park Rangers do a fair amount of traffic enforcement with K band!
