I just upgraded the firmware update from

FW Version 5.5.3
PDC FW Version 8.3

to FW Version 5.5.6
PDC FW Version 8.6

and now every time the car starts up, I get a message "warning restore default and memorized sensor"?

is this normal??

I think it was 8.5 that required it, but for the upgrade you are doing, yes you need to restore defaults

If you want to keep your settings you can save them to a USB drive if they aren't already. Then reset with the USB drive out and once it's done you can plug in the USB drive and your config will be restored.

Whenever I do a f/w upgrade I do the "Restore Defaults", & same for Hi-Fi update plus re-create/install a new Config. file just to be safe.

Yes when upgrading to the latest this was required as they changed something that required it to be done. Restore defaults relearn and reload a new config file. They added some features I believe regarding poliscan.
