From ERF:
MAX 360c has been updated to v1.10 with the following changes:
- Improvements to product stability <- does this mean silent lockup bug?
- Resolved issue causing rear false alerts under certain conditions
- Reduced laser false alerts

I assume firmware for the other 360 models will follow.

Edit: Update for other 360 detectors released now as well.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up. I'm noticing the update is available with Escort Detector tools, but not yet over WiFi. I'm sure that'll be coming soon too though. Hopefully this finally resolves the lockup/sleeping issues altogether. Fingers crossed!

Since new firmware updates are cumulative of prior firmware updates (as is the Defender Database), and since 1.9 reset Preferences to their default settings, it will be interesting to see if 1.10 does likewise. Looking forward to feedback on this. In any event, be sure to keep a list just in case (especially if you are running a pre-1.9 version).

I updated and all my settings fortunately remained this time. I'm not sure if this also applies if updating over WiFi instead of using Detector Tools Pro.

My first attempt to update via WiFi was as usual but turns out it was only a software update. I brought my laptop out to my 360c and performed a firmware update using the tools and it completed successfully. So as of 9:00 tonight one needs to use the tools to update the firmware.

Is anyone having BT/WiFi issues after updating?

I was out driving today and noticed my 360c wasn't able to connect to WiFi. I tried restarting the app and detector, but no luck. I tried reconnecting via the app, but no luck. My phones connect to WiFi just fine, but not the detector.

Soon after I lost the ability to connect over BT as well.

I've tried resetting the detector twice, but it still doesn't connect to BT anymore.

Are things working fine for the rest of you?

Hi Vortex,

Yes, it is working fine for mine. It connects to my Wifi every time and BT has been working as usual.

Vortex, I had issues with it connecting via BT to EL. Unpaired device within iOS system preferences and went back to app where it then asked to re-pair. All good after then.

hm I tried that, but I still can’t connect. I tried from my Android and same issue.

I tried to reflash the fw and Escort Detector Tools says that it's unable to update the detector.

I guess it’s time for a trip back to the mothership.

@Vortex, did you try to update the bootloader as outlined here?
What’s new in Detector Tools Pro v2.3.3.24:
- Improved Windows 10 compatibility
- Customers can now resolve undiscoverable Bluetooth issues using “Update All”. The detector or MAX Ci interface no longer needs to be serviced to resolve.
Detectors which may be affected are:
  • MAX Ci
  • MAX Ci 360
  • MAX II
  • X80
  • Bel GT-360
- “Find Device” and "Update Bootloader" features added
Detectors which may be affected are:
  • MAX 360
  • MAX 360 BLE
  • RedLine EX
  • RedLine EX INTL
  • MAX 360c
  • MAX 360c INTL
  • Bel GT-360

How to use "Find Device" and "Update Bootloader":
1) Run Detector Tools Pro as an Administrator by right clicking on the Detector Tools Pro icon and selecting “Run as Administrator” from the menu.

2) Select menu item “Device -> Find Device…”
Note: This menu item will not be active if a device is connected to Detector Tools Pro. If a device is connected, it will show but be greyed out.

(If you did not initially run Detector Tools Pro as an Administrator, you will be asked if you want to restart Detector Tools Pro as an Administrator. Click “Yes”. Windows will ask for permission. Click “Yes” then select “Device -> Find Device…” from the Detector Tools Pro menu)

3) If Detector Tools Pro finds the detector, it should now connect to Detector Tools Pro. If Detector Tools Pro detects that the detector requires a bootloader update, it will prompt the user to perform a Bootloader Update.

4) Now select menu item “Device -> Update Bootloader”
Note: This menu item will only be shown when the device is out of date and a new version of the bootloader is available.
IMPORTANTLY Detector Tools Pro will warn you to not unplug the detector until the update has completed. Doing so could render the detector inoperable requiring it be sent in for service.

5) After the update has completed, you should see a message stating: "Bootloader Update Completed Successfully!"

6) Unplug and re-connect the USB cable into the detector. The detector should now work properly with Detector Tools Pro

Thank you. That looked promising and I followed the steps. Nothing came up about the bootloader and so I tried reflashing again on Windows, but no luck.

So far I've found both Max 360c's and the iXc lost connectivity after updating. The Max 360 and Redline EX still connect just fine after updating though. Maybe it's something related to WiFi? I spent about half an hour earlier today chatting with Escort's tech support about the issue. Like most of you, they were able to update their 360c's and iXc without issue. Hopefully they're able to help figure out what's going on on my end.

Just updated my Max 360c to ver 1.10 and within a 30 mile drive I received 4 laser alerts and one of them I was not even moving and my OSP read 80 mph. Is anyone else having any issues with Laser alerts? Btw I am not having any Bth or WiFi issues just laser alerts.

I did see a brand new report on ERF of 360c laser falses subsequent to the new 1.10 update. The poster did not recall what version he had prior to the update, but indicated that it was not an issue previously.
