These are 2 Escort Redline's that we used for testing and both work 100 percent. Both were manufactured in 2015
One has rubberized finish (2915 Build) and one was the newer plastic (3815 Build)

Both will include a new Smart Cord and a new standard windshield mount. I have no need for these older units any longer.

Yeah.. They are like new. They were used for sensitity comparisons when we started working on the NR we needed alot of comparison data.

I already have two perfect Redlines or I'd love to jump on these! They are incredible on "ghetto arrows " duty in the back glass running Ka band only. That's what I'm doing with both of mine.

Price Lowered... You wont find a better deal on gently used units in new condition.

Price Reduction... You wont find a better deal on near perfect Redline's with new combo cord and standard windshield mount.

I only compared them against the NR DSP and both Redline's were equal in performance but the DSP was better on KA. That was at the time of the changeover from the rubberized case to the plastic so I opened both to see if there were any differences between the two and they performed equal to each other.

Still a solid unit and far better than the Redline EX if you can afford to run less K band. It still does near as well as my R1/3 units on Ka band. Seg it and its still one of the best performing units out there and rarely if ever falses on Ka band.

I'd say its still HOT on Ka band. When I run my Redline (original ER unit production # 9) occasionally (with the Wirebonded LNA), not prepackaged, its near as good on Ka as my R1/3. Maybe a second off or less on a Ka alert. Remember , these were very similar in architecture to the original Stir-O which is still one of the finest, if NOT the finest remote ever made. Just ask @KASHER1979 . An Stir-O mounted outside on the roof is as good as the Uniden R1/3 on Ka band, particularly, 34.7 It loves Stalker.

For those who don't know, the Redlines had very good, if not excellent, front lidar receptivity as well.

I have 2 other Redline-O's, this one makes 3. @VariableWave has one too. At every test we run guess what either wins outright or ties with our R1's, R3's and even his mighty R7? The Redlines! All of the Redlines always alert at the exact same spots too. We'll see how this one does as soon as I get it, but all of the rest of them are clones of each other. Of course they suck if you have to run K band, but I don't. They are all pulling ''Ghetto Arrows" duty in the rear of our Mustangs and killing it every day! I sure hope Escort doesn't stop fixing these things when they break or I'll be stuck with some expensive paperweights!

He's not on here much anymore , but if you ask Roger @OpenRoad in CA, he'll tell you how good and consistent the Redline is. I took a drive out in CA and mine alerted at the same time as his did on that test course last fall. Nearly identical place. The Uniden R series, Stir-0, Redlines and Stinger are the ONLY units I ever recall to date having passed his test. Even the venerable V1 segged can not pass his test. @OpenRoad

I remember all of his famed stew tests! You and "Ole Nellie" and @OpenRoad were my heroes and the reason I started running Redlines in the first place! I love my R1's, all 4 of them, but there's just something about these damn Redlines!

@hagosrush Here's a radar you could consider
Thanks @LOAF3 Looked at the review by Vortex and it seems that is best for highway as it does not do very well with city / urban driving. Also, I would have to purchase the bluetooth accessory to connect it to the phone. Will continue to hunt.

Thanks, Old Nellie is still in my arsenal and is now 10 years and 1 month old. Just had a August birthday party for her (08/09 build) . I can't deny how good the Unidens are, BUT the Old M3s were also in a class of their own in the stew test. ONLY a few RDs have ever passed that test and those that did are still top tier. It just saddens me that the Redline EX has nowhere near the performance of the original Redline as there's really no excuse. An M3 with great K band filtering would be a market maker!!

If your in an area that requires x/or k band this is true.

If you need All or majority Ka band, it is still a solid choice. I use my Stir-O remote for Ka only duty and it does very well.
