I did not know we had an Escort rep in these forums. Cool stuff!

Now if I can only convince Adaptiv to join in....
So true. Want a set of those for my bike. You really like yours.

I'm curious about the DP 360 as well. I spoke with the Escort Techs about 10 days ago, and they "thought" the DP 360 had the latest software out the gate. So far with one month of use, I've had no lockups, no rear false alerts, nor any false laser alerts.
Agree.. for GT360 owners like myself. Should be the same or close.

I do,and the communication I have with them has been top notch.

My only complaint is that I had 2 heads go bad but they were quick to ship me a new one.

As far as jamming goes I think it does the trick, it did jam the dragon eye compact to gun with only two heads. That is impressive ! but struggled a bit with the XLR on our last test (on the first test it was JTG on 3 runs with the XLR) on the last test it had some wierd PTs but in all the cases it would had been a save.

Adaptiv said that on the next update they will fix the XLR issue so I am a happy panda for now.

It's best feature is the remote and the flashing warning light. But I wished it had a blue tooth connectivity to be able to pair to a wireless .

Also I wish it had the option to JTK an alert with the remote or to change it's auto JTK timer from 3 seconds to 4 or 5 seconds.

All in all Adaptiv does the trick. TMG did good on a bike test as well so I do not know which one I would pick if I had to pick again.

THANK YOU!!! And when you say all "360" portable detectors, I take it that also includes the Beltronics GT-360 and the Cobra variant that recently came out, in addition to the Escort 360 & 360C?
Here you go Larry, I believe the first question since you re-joined RDF...curious to see your response and time to respond...

Correct, all 360s including the non-Escort brand models: GT-360 and DualPro 360

Awesome! Assuming it corrects the issue once and for all, I can see this going a long way towards positively changing perceptions around here. Also appreciate your participation on this forum. Would be good to know user feedback is valued. Thank you.

was not kicked off. Depends on how its presented I guess (feedback/inquiry vs criticism).
No one will be kicked off for simply presenting the issue. Show the issue you're having and leave it at that. Don't start telling people "here is the issue now go get a Uniden or Valentine" lol And then even leave the link to Uniden and V1. It'll get deleted. That's where there has been a lot of confusion I think. They decided over there that they didn't want any other products mentioned or links to other products.... So a lot of things that get deleted that is why, but the useful info I think ends up going out with it sometimes because people break that rule. So just post your issue and I think they will leave it, and it coudl help. If you go and stay within their rules you wont get kicked out for posting a legit issue. I have posted plenty and I used to PM them a ll the time with issues and swaped some units in the past etc. They are glad to help just dont mention other products that's what will get ya. lol As much as I have messaged back and forth with Escort in the past on that forum about issues they would have banned me a long time ago. They don't mind issues being reported. Trust me. :)

I think @Dukes would disagree...
Maybe, but it's probably best not to get into all of the history again. I was just speaking for myself and my experience. Hey you could try it? Just be nice and report kindly the issue you are having without mentioning a competitor or a competitor link and see what happens..... I just know it's worked for me.

However, now that Escort has a rep here we can also kindly report here, and I am sure they'll do a ll that they can , but I am sure they don't have a magic wand to wave either for instant results. Wish I had one of those at my job! lol . We are all at the mercy of our co - workers and employers when it comes to deadlines and things sometimes. I hope Escort can stick around here though. We can be a tough crowd, but We have a lot of users here that like the products and are willing to help when issues come up. :)

Thats exactly what I did and I was accused of lying and slander. I hope they’ve changed their tune but I see no evidence to support that. I don’t want to dig up old drama but I won’t forget how they treated me as a paying customer.

@InsipidMonkey thanks for mentioning this, you beat me to it.

@Dukes nor should you, or anyone else, forget how Escort choose to ban a customer from their forum who only demonstrated the truth.

Let's hope going forward Escort as a company chooses to listen to their customers and addresses their concerns, instead of banning them for only speaking the truth about their products.

FYI... If you update to 1.10 on the 360c via the tools, you will be prompted via wi-fi to update again. Don't do it, as doing so will downgrade you to 1.9.

Bug alert @EscortRadar... you may already know this. And have a solution on the matter?

So I updated my 360c last night to 1.10 and had some errands to run this morning. After driving by known K band falses being verified by my R3, my 360c was silent-excellent so far. So I drove for about 20 minutes to the local post office and still no falses. No laser falses at all. I know its only one day one short hour of testing but it appears the 360c is quiet again. Ill test some more tonight when I drive up to my favorite hot wings sports spot for the game tonight. Im hoping this does the trick. Im one of the lucky ones that doesn't have the lockup issue and its only had a bad cable in the ZR5 hookup installation. So Im a happy road terror at this point. Time to cruise the strip in style again-FAST!!

Wife reported 2 laser falses yesterday on 1.10. Not positive but it sure looks like the issue of laser falsing still exists.

I cant test the sleepiness until I get to drive her car some.

I got to say that if this "fix" has failed it would completely shatter all trust in Escort to fix this detector.

At that point ANY enthusiast should pull the support for the 360c indefinitely.

Now if this fix worked I may even consider buying one.

I would buy one if it was fixed.
And the price was competitive.
But here in BC my purchase price for the R7 was $735 CDN.
The 360c best price was $975 CDN.
Add 12% for taxes.
I can press the button for lockouts quite happily for that amount.
Today, the 360c would have to sell for less than an R7 for me to switch.
Unhappy as I have been a die hard Escort/Bel fan for decades.

Just curious, this thread was on the silent/lock up issues, where there also laser false issues?

Do the laser falses happen at random places on the road, or is it at the same location every time? My old zr4s and Belscorts would false at tollbooths all the time, but it was always at the same location due to some lidar components that were set up in the tollbooths. I have two Max IIs and they are awesome with no lock up or laser falses and with the IVT filer update completely silent to BSM while still offering great range to real threats, not sure why the Max 360 platform has so many laser falses considering the hardware for laser detection should be identical to the Max IIs.
