Big thank you to @Andrew21 for the early morning testing on a holiday! JTG/JFG on DE. We were both concerned that the left rear sensor and TX were too close but it didn't hurt on this particular install.

I’m so glad ALP works with the BMW grill. It even looks great. Nice install.

Your plate frame is hilarious :D

How did you attach the Rx heads to the grill?

Thanks for posting these pics.... super helpful. Before reading your post, I was going to pull the fuse for the active grille, but the placement in the last non-moving grille louver is brilliant. Any chance Chris Breezy did your install?

2 verticals + TX in center = JTG/JFG vs DE with @Andrew21 shooting

You need the TX head to run the two RX heads vertically. I have the same setup on my F30 with JTG all day against every gun

Did you just remove the arm for the active kidney grille for the last slots? Id love to see more photos if you could send some over. I have dealers asking all the time for them and how to get better coverage up front of bmw's with these new active grilles.

dont think anything was removed - my impression was that the last slot was inactive on its own - that it never open/closed - will take some pics later today - anything in particular that would be helpful?

@Jason at Radenso This is absolutely correct for the X5. The first and last slats are inoperable/fixed plastic pieces that are individually removable and are not connected to the active grille arm. Shoot me a PM if you want some more pics.

Thanks brother!! Super awesome to know this. I get asked quite often on these new bmws whats the best and cleanest install option. This performs well and looks great!!
