Yeah had a look at tha vid, unfrtunatly i bought mine from Ebay so im trying to figure out how i can flash the NZ firmware, which is i see now is still an issue :(

Yeah I guess there a chance you could brick the detector which you probably already know. Wish I could be of more help

only worried about bricking it if it requires some third party flashing firmware, using the official ones shouldn't be to much of a worry, i asked unidan NZ, they said they would do it for 200 buks which tells me its possible...

$200!?!? That’s ridiculous! If I knew how to do it, I’d do it for free and pay the shipping to get it back to you as well. Unbelievable.
