When bluetooth disconnects does your control set take over?

I've recently purchased ALP with BT, NetRadar etc. According to this page on the AL Priority site it says that "If the system detects a loss of the wireless signal from a smartphone, control automatically reverts to the Control Set." I don't get this behaviour with my setup. When I disconnect my BT I just get beeps and a flashing LED and from what I can tell, no detection or protection.

Is there something I need to configure to make this work?

Thanks

When Bluetooth disconnects my control set takes back over yes.

Nothing needed configured. Also your control set still works for JTK even when connected via Bluetooth.

thanks

When the BT disconnects, the ALP CPU Shuts down, it should restart with the control panel. You may be seeing the bootup flash sequence...
Mine does

If you lose BT Signal the BT Module has a relay that triggers and switches over to your wired controller. If after the switchover your wired controller does not turn on try pressing the power button on the wired controller and it should power up. Dont turn off the wired controller with the power button and the switch over should happen with no intervention in the future.

Another question. If BT is disconnected does that also mean that it reverts to profile A? I think that's what I'm seeing and why the LED changes colour.

I think it depends on which controller you have, Basic or HiFi. Basic should only let you use A, HiFi will hold whatever profile was on use at the time.

What controller do you have? I have not checked lately to see if it was fixed but with Basic controller I had issues if BT was turned Off on any profile except A. I had to leave USB installed so the CPU could reload the Profile setting, maybe the CPU holds it now and resets itself I don't know...I will try it out when I get a chance.

If Alp is Off on control and you start BT then it will turn On through BT but when BT is turned Off then ALP will go Off. So, if you want ALP to stay On in case of BT failure then make sure ALP is On before starting BT.

Yes, Profiles are only available on the HiFi Conrollers.

That makes sense as I have the standard controller. Thanks!
