I have just acquired an EX International. I've noticed that when you get a camera location distance countdown in feet, the number drops but then suddenly freezes at a random value until you pass the camera. I presume this is abnormal?

Thanks, mine does it at all locations with or without Escort Live connected. Sometimes I get no warnings of cameras at all, even though they are shown on the Escort Live app. This happens randomly at random camera locations.

Upgrade your EX INTL to firmware 1.15. The new firmware fixes this problem.

I'm also having the same problem with my Redline EX International. Have had it now for about 3 months. Turned every Preference to "ON" as I have no idea what bands/technology are used here in Hong Kong. Seemed to be giving me quite a few alerts to and from work. Then just a few days ago I too noticed the countdown in meters to the speed camera is freezing. I still get a GPS speed value that does not lock up, but the frozen countdown will stay for several minutes. I'm not really getting any alerts anymore apart from the odd POP alert. My Escort 9500ix is right next to it on the windscreen and is giving me quite a few K and Ka alerts and the odd POP aswell yet the Redline EX stays silent. Have restored it to factory settings at least 3 times and yet no luck. Just prior to writing this I did change the firmware to 1.15 so will try tomorrow and see what happens. Could the reason that my old 9500ix is giving alerts and the Redline EX is not, be due to better filtering on the Redline EX making the Redline EX stay slient?
