So a week ago I sent my 360c overnighted to their factory service center. It was there for 2 days and shipped back to me -it took 2 days-so fantastic repair time and I got a new coiled 12 cig unit and a windshield magnetic mount free! The unit was in warranty. The repair ticket said it replaced a resistor that had changed in value on a circuit board. It was tuned and updated and reset to factory settings. So its been 2 days and lots of driving in town doing errand runs. Not one laser false in 2 days. It used to false 3-5 times a week, very annoying. I cant wait for my first laser encounter which will happen this weekend I'm sure here in the ATL area. I have a portable laser tester that I bought for around $75 a few months ago. The Zr5s and 360c go off like they should as usual. So it appears ES repaired my unit. So far I'm really happy with their service. Ill know more by Monday how well it performs.

Thanks for the update. Keep us posted after you have had more time with it. Hopefully they fixed your problem with the laser false alarms. I may send my 360c in too. I normally average about one laser false each day I use my 360c since updating to firmware 1.9.

There was some debate about recent laser falses due to firmware or hardware. According to what you're saying it seems like hardware. Or, if trying to account for coinciding upgrading to new firmware, maybe the firmware adjusted some settings that exacerbated the issue? Are all the 360c's like this? Meaning, is there some kind of degredation in the analogue parts (e.g. resistor as mentioned) that they all undergo? I was planning on upgrading to it but then wanted to wait for a resolution
