My GF has been using V1Driver whenever she drives my car for about 2 weeks or so. It seems to be working ok, learning falses, etc.
We're having a slight problem and I cannot figure out what setting is causing it. Sometimes when we get in and I'm driving (a JBV1 user), my phone will not connect to the dongle. I couldnt figure it out for a few times until I hear her phone go off in her purse calling out a KBand signal. She pulls it out and checks and V1Driver is not running (checking by tapping the show all running programs button). She has to "start" it then go to the all programs section and kill it. Then I can connect. This has happened several times and every time she checks, it's "not running" but has taken control of the dongle. I cannot find any autostart setting, or I'm just reading something wrong.
Any thoughts?

V1Driver can connect as a hidden Background Daemon. It won’t show in the running list of apps if it automatically connected on its own. Lots of apps do this, just not many of them talk. ;)

Any way to stop it and manually connect only

Or if that's not available now, maybe an update to the app to add the switch? (of course defaulting to "always on" like it is now so your current customers dont get freaked out).

Yes, Under Bluetooth Settings Disable “Auto-Run Bluetooth”

Then on the Main screen hit the Bluetooth button to Manually Connect and Disconnect.

BTW I just added a cool (EXPERIMENTAL) feature that requires V1Driver to see that the phone it actively paired to your radio before it attempts to connect V1. Some cars offer a priority phone. So when the priority phone connects to the car then V1Driver connects on that phone. If it loses Bluetooth with car it optionally also disconnects to.

This is a little tricky to do without wasting battery. But so far it works pretty good. It can take a lot longer to connect but it eventually does.
