Only 2 changes (along with this) were TSF OFF and Advanced (from Highway) with 2/4/5/6/8

Hmm... definitely odd then. If it was the other way around with TSF, as in, you turned it on, then I’d say try turning it back off, but that’s not the case. Just a FYI (and you may already be aware of this), running Highway is the same thing as running Advanced (unless you adjust the sensitivity levels (K down to 70% for example). If you’re leaving everything at 100% in Advanced, you might as well just run in Highway. Segmenting Ka applies across the board (Highway, City, Advanced).

I received the same K band detection earlier today (23.838). @mattguy10 same thing here. Very weird considering I drive on that road everyday usually with no falses unless it was a BSM. Wondering if something else is going on here...

Yeah not sure. I haven’t seen it since I posted seeing it back on 10/1. If the detector isn’t capable of scanning that low, then I would have to guess it’s firmware related. Maybe something to do with K Block being enabled, and it’s just a random glitch that shows a frequency that makes absolutely no sense. My R7 seems to be working completely fine otherwise. Uniden is working on a firmware update, so maybe that will resolve it, if it is in fact firmware related. Let’s hope so...

I know there have been some falsing issues due to MRCD being enabled. Could that possibly be what's happening?

K band covers 18 to 27 Ghz. How low / high your detector will pick up in the band depends on the detector.

"Ka (police radar) band covers from 33.4 to 36.0 Ghz It was originally part of what was deemed NATO K band. Ka stands for K above and Ku is K under It was broken into 3 parts K band now covers 18 to 27 Ghz Ka covers 26.5 to 40 Ghz and Ku covers 12 to 18 Ghz our portions of the spectrum have been designated for speed enforcement radar, HOWEVER Amateur Radio Operators can use 24.0 to 24.250 Ghz for terrestrial and Satellite (AMSAT) that covers the whole K band portion Police radar operates in."
