Those that doubt a radar detector working are usually the folks that have never run at least a decent mid tier model. The cheap $50 or less detectors usually false constantly and have such short range that they may let you down... It also comes from the folks that don't understand that they won't save you from laser, pacing, vascar etc. They are one of many tools needed, they are not cop detectors.

Yup and another thing I hear all the time is "by the time your detector goes off, it's already too late!" Which is maybe true for laser or instant on if you are the first vehicle or only vehicle on the road, but 99.9% of the time around here it is cops rolling around or stationary with Ka always on.

I figure if they put in the work to point a laser or instant-on radar gun at me and pull the trigger, and I don't see them first, they did their job and deserve to ticket me. It's a cat-and-mouse game, but most cops just roll around with radar always on though, or do not have any radar at all. I see that a lot too.

My first speeding ticket ever, I was running a radar detector a buddy gave it to me to borrow. I freaked out and stuffed it under the seat. Everyone in the car thought they were illegal.

Fact is most people have absolutely 0 knowledge about how they work, the laws surrounding them, or what detectors are worth buying. When non enthusiasts buy detectors they pick them up at the same place they buy their milk. Then they plug it in on the way home and false alerts drive them nuts and the one cop they do see is before their detector made enough noise. The next time they head back out for milk, they return it and write off the entire idea.

Editing skills are on point, what did you use to make the compilation?

A RD is usually a hard sell because it comes with more expense to be fully protected, like parking sensors. So people think they can rip it with a RD then they get hit by laser. Personally, I'm just a geek to want to see what kind of waves are floating around in the air :downswords:.

In 2016 Magix bought Sony Vegas and most of the Sony creative suite I believe. It's basically the same as Sony Vegas just owned by Magix now. It's nice, I use it and I'm happy it keeps me out of a subscription like Adobe stuff.
