Hi!

I was wondering if anyone could provide there personal V1Connection/Custom Sweeps settings. I followed Vortex Radars youtube video (
) but it seems the settings he provded was more towards across North America. My current settings will probably be the one I use when I'm outside of California but let me know what you think. I was also wondering if they can share there custom sweeps they use specifically in California. Thanks!

Here are my current customer sweeps:
34.593-34.770 GHz
34.774-34.833 GHz
35.394-35.615 GHz

In-The-Box Settings
Ka Band:
Box 1: 33.700-33.900 GHz
Box 2: 34.600-34.800 GHz
Box 3: 35.400-35.600 GHz (Out of the box muting enabled)

Those sweeps should be fine for most areas.

Note that the custom sweeps stay on the detector as long as the display is showing C or c (ie you don't need the phone or V1C dongle connected once the sweeps are pushed), but the box muting settings will only work when the app is open.

If you are going to run an app, I would strongly suggest either JBV1 (Android) or V1Driver (iOS and Android), as both provide superior functionality to the V1C app. There is a ton of info both in the V1 subforum and the app specific subforum. Browse through it and let us know if you have any questions!

JohnAyySays,
This comment probably isn't necessary, but I'll make it just in case. If you add other Ka sweeps, for example when traveling outside California, don't forget you have everything outside segment 2, 5 and 8 currently muted as "Outside the Box".

Also, if your V1 is 3.8952, you can run the 34.xxx sweeps as one. No need to split.
