Is anyone with a V1 seeing Honda BSM at 24.160?

Over 1,000+ miles recently I have encountered a number of Honda Pilots (as well as lots of other Honda/Acura vehicles) and have yet to see one at 24.160 +/-.

I do get 24.160+ signals from GM along with the companion 24.160+.
I get other vehicles and signals around 24.160

I haven't yet seen a Honda 24.160 with my V1. Does anyone else know for sure they have seen a Honda 24.160 with their V1?
It would be interesting if Honda's new frequency is not causing alerts for us V1 users. Maybe TMF2 is handling it?

I've certainly seen newer Hondas and Acuras emitting 24.160, but I have been running the R7 in my wife's car along with the V1 in my car. I assumed I was seeing them with both, but I just checked my JBV1 logs and don't have any recent 24.160 hits

Maybe you're onto something here. I'll keep an eye on it and be on the lookout for 24.160 falses. I could even set a K box to alert me :)

I am not sure the point of your post? Are you saying newer Hondas you have seen 24.160? I have never come across a Honda/Acura with that freq.

Not yet. I do run into general motor cars at 24.167-24.170.

How does TMF2 handle the typical 24.199 +/- BSMs?

It's not from a V1, but I see Honda and Acura at the 24.16x area daily now. Usually it's 24.168. I think the lowest I've seen was 24.162

There's been lots of talk lately of new Honda Pilots running 24.160 or so instead of 24.200. I've driven around quite a few newer Pilots and instead of 24.200+/-, I get nothing at all.
I can't easily disable broadcasting BSM on either of our 2018 Hondas so it stands to reason that a 2019 Pilot or future Hondas won't allow that either. (But you can disable the alerting of BSM, etc.)

I've got that video showing the difference of TMF2 on and off. It cuts 7-10 varying alerts down to 1 or less. There are semi trucks with BSM like systems that I used to encounter quite a bit. Those haven't changed, but I very rarely ever get an alert from them. I drive near 30-100 semis every day. TMF2 is responsible for that.

If Honda has switched to 24.160, maybe it's better behaved than the 24.200 system was and similar to what semis tend to have.

That's why I'm beginning to wonder. I'm on the road for 3 to 12 hours most days. I have not seen a 24.160 signal from a Honda.

Maybe the new Honda Passport (Not Pilot) has 24.160? I do know a little over a year ago Valentine was testing Junk TMF 3.

A handful of people are complaining about the Pilot. I'll have to turn off TMF2 next time I encounter one that's not giving a 24.200 signal and see what happens.
I'd also heard about TMF3 being worked on. :)

Not a chance (well, I very much doubt it). Go by your local Honda dealership and follow someone in a brand new Pilot off the lot. Then you'll have your answer.

According to what I've been watching for since last week and the general confusion in this thread by other V1 users, I'm not so sure that's true.
You seem to be certain that I haven't yet spent enough time on this but I have encountered (and passed) many, many cars over the last 1000 miles. :)

It's like looking for LEOs with a new detector. They're never there when you want them to be. But I'll start running my V1 again and see if I can find one, too.

I saw two on consecutive days, but haven't seen one since (several days)

I'll be doing at least another 300 miles tomorrow to Bristol, TN and then to Greenville, SC. I'll be driving right around 5 Honda dealerships in Bristol, Johnson City, Asheville, and two in Greenville. I might be able to stop and wait at one or two later in the day. :)

I remember someone had talked to a tech at VR that mentioned it. Might have been @johnboy00.
A quick search for TMF3 turns up posts going back to 2014 into 2015.. and it's just people saying "What If". Then it pops back up as a what if in the patent thread part2 that started in late 2018. Maybe there are other posts, but I didn't try it with and without a space to separate the 3.

Basically, TMF 3 is just more rumors .... like people saying they spoke with someone at V that there's going to be a new V1.. then someone else saying, when the spoke with a V rep, it's only a parts shortage, meaning no changes once available again, that preventing them from selling the V1.

@crabu2, your not an advanced member nor do you have access to other threads where TMF3 might have been discussed as an intermediate user.
The second part of your post is dissenting opinion...

TMF3 was mentioned sometime in the last 6 months and was a recent conversation with a technician at V1. The conversation about it was brief, but specific. Whomever it was; they were actually calling about something else and during conversation TMF3 was discussed as something that particular technician had been working on.
I might have to see if I can find it.

Not knowing where else to post these; I thought this might be interesting. These are the current 24.200 GHz BSI (BSM) modules for the 2018 Accord. I wonder if this a Canada specific module or they all say that.

Also, a page from the service manual showing their mounted location. I wonder if these can be opened up and tuned to a different frequency like a radar gun can?

Find it if you can.. I only did the TMF3 search on this forum since it's specific to V1. Still, I think it's just rumors.. It seems the V1 almost never changes, but rumors about it changing are talked about all the time.
