So new detectors, jammers, do you crave a hit on your unit to verify operation or to find out what the LEOs in your area are using against you?
What do you drive?
I find the motorcycle is an exceptional chase vehicle as it is economical and agile for u turns and multiple passes / search grid.
I'm finding R7 arrows fun to quickly determine my target location.
Week nights so slow here. Weekends the enforcement perks up in town and highway.
It's Friday!

I keep the Waze live map up at work, if I see a flurry of pins close by I sometimes sneak out for 10 mins to drive through it and see what's up. And I choose my commute route based on most police reports on Waze.

My test drives (Ford Sport Fusion) are on Hyw 7 to Legends Shopping Center in KCK & Interstates 70/29 on the Missouri side. Today I was approaching Legends & Cobra DP 360 gave me a great off axis K band alert of a KCK city patrol car. My drives are done on (days off) Fridays & Sundays....My daily driver @ work; Radenso XP saves me thru the week!

Nice to be in an area with active reporting. I was trying to do that but no reports.
Was much more active in Vancouver and I could reduce Highway Radar app ranges down to my route. No need to scan whole city there looking for a Waze report. LOL.

Funny you should bring this up! I just upgraded Jane, my fiance's daily driver Mustang from a Whistler CR95 which we both love, but it has several glitches like mixing up K band BSM's and showing them as Ka alerts! We have tried for months to get Whistler to do an update to fix this, but so far no luck. Since we already had 2 R1's in our other 2 Mustangs when another one popped up in the classifieds in our forum with only 1 hour of run time on it I jumped all over it! I updated it to 1.48 and bench tested the hell out of it with my genesis 2 k band and 35.5 guns. I hit it with Q/T shots all afternoon and it ate it up! Then I installed it in Jane's car along with a new dash cam and headed out to look for NC state troopers! We drove to Washington, NC to get nailed with some 34.7 and 35.5! Usually everytime we go over there to eat or whatever we'll get hit with 34.7 or 35.5 several times going and coming back. So far we've been over there 3 times looking for some action and she's driven to work for almost 2 damn weeks with nothing to show for it until today she finally got a forward facing 34.7 hit from a trooper way up ahead of her! This happens every time without fail when I get a new detector!

My cruising rig this weekend, 300 kms of trying to get a LEO hit.
For some reason they pass me over for the unloaded vehicles.
Little do they know with upgraded suspension, brakes and ecoboost tuning I cruise pretty good in this rig.

Whatever you do.
Just cruising around looking for a hit.
Actively hunting LEO.
Scientific testing methods?
Whatever floats your boat on a Friday night.
JTK I hope.

While not particularly into gas fueled vehicles, and definitely not a ford fan, I gotta give credit where it's due. First, that is one sweet setup and second, a tuned ecoboost is just plain fu____ impressive  I'm thinking the trailer is more of a distraction and cover than it is a hinderance to performance. Too big to sneak by under their noses so blast by in their face. That's stealth.

There is a breakfast place two towns away from me that I like in the direction I don’t go often. The highway to get there is a hotspot for CHP 34.7. When I get a new RD, I happen to get hungry for my favorite breakfast spot a couple of weekends in a row.

I go cruising but not looking for encounters. It's a shame it's such a gross night or I'd be bombing around for sure

So if I decide to get ALP for this rig, how many heads do I need front and back?? LOL;)

I definitely love finding LEO, when I'm prepared. Tonight I literally sat on the side of the road and shot cars with my newly acquired PL3. I had a good time.

oooo oooo I did I did :p

My ELDW subscription finally kicked in so I went out to play with that and test a new telescoping magnetic phone mount specifically for the phone I run Waze/Highway Radar/EL on. I learned that ELDW is more helpful than Waze where I live. Waze only ever has a couple reports on my side of the city, but on ELDW there were 20-30 reports

Found lots of 34.7, but never saw the LEO.

So what exactly is ELDW?
Google gives me Estee Lauder Double Wear.
I'm thinking a traffic service subscription?

Well that was anticlimactic.
Light traffic and no LEOs anywhere. Not even at the Timmies. (Translate: Canadian donut shop)

Escort Live Direct Wire. For some reason I thought I had seen it numerous times, but searching, almost nobody but me has used it. Sorry for any confusion.
