So I have seen some videos and pictures of LTI beam patterns that show 3 vertical lines apparently produced by a "3 element" laser diode. I have also seen a video of what appears to be just a round light beam projected on a wall. My LTI LR-B produces the round light beam. Anyone else checked their beam pattern? I have not issues with target acquisition so not sure of the difference.

My pattern at 20-ish feet.

Any cheap way to get the IR camera setting on a iPhone XR?

I wouldn’t mind picking one up on the cheap to see both the flashing of the ALP’s or the light pattern coming out of the 20/20.

Flip the camera and it should work, it actually does pick up IR but after the iphone 4 apple filters it out, on the front camera. you should be able to see it on the selfie camera. I just tried with my tv remote and see a big difference, give it a try! also the iphone 3gs will also do it lol

Interestingly, here is my Bushnell Yardage Pro 450 range finder also made by LTI. The rectangle is shot diagonal, not vertical or horizontal when held like binoculars. This is identified by my TMGs as Kustom PLIII or ProLite, 200PPS?

That explains all.
The LR B is a much different & greatly improved gun after the olde Marksman. I've seen a few LR B's & never observed the 3 beam pattern you claim. I suspect LTI abandoned the 3 beam configuration when they introduced the 1st generation UltraLytes to replace the Marksman. (eg: 100, 200 & the "LR" versions of these)
However, I've never owned or saw IR videos of those Models.
