Nice social media recon. LEO’s bragging comes at a price :)

Which vehicle was the victims car?
Thanks. I saw a news headline about a priest getting stopped for PSL+50 on his way to a funeral. True story. When I read the story it had the cop's twitter post linked to it. The tweet above was a couple of tweets after the one about the priest.

As for the vehicle, I've never owed a dually, will they do a 122 mph? Otherwise, I'd think it would be the Audi.

This isn't news. The DE Speedlidar is used all over Ontario. In fact, a quick Google yields me York/Guelph:

The Compact is what we all should be a bit worried about, which I haven't seen used in recent memory. I BELIEVE I spotted York Region OPP and Niagara Region OPP using it in the past, but have never seen it recently.

The dually was the tow. That's an automatic car jail ticket.

DETC is in Barrie, ON too. I've seen it up close and personal.

Barrie police on a city street. That was a few years ago too. OPP use LA-R and DALA. Easy to jam.

Desl rear shots on the OPP Insta page. Two rear hits (speed racing). They said they busted someone on the 407 near Brock Road but I don't see anywhere they would have done a rear shot.

That said I've heard of rear hits on the 401 before when testing with another member who referenced this exact scenario on RDF before but I can't find it.

Anyone know if previous references were for 401 at mill street as well?

I can't easily post the OPPs shot. However their Insta page is OPP_HSD

Here it is:

WHERE THE HELL IS MILL STREET? (man, I've spent like 10 minutes looking!) lol.

More importantly, on the 407, where the heck would the cop sit near brock road? It makes 100% sense to be doing normal front shots? If you go West of brock road there's a few places he could have shot from, but ALL targets should have been coming towards him. The fact that they nailed the guy doing -162km/hr means they didn't see the cruiser which leads me to presume overpass shots only? Which - for anyone who has ever driven on the 407 knows...it simply isn't done.

Now here's the thing.

DESL 1 showed -164 and there's a reference to speed racing.
DESL 2 showed -162 which could have been the other car/speed racing OR the car on the 407 because it was also nailed at -162.

We will never know.

BAH!

On the 407, I've seen them on the onramp in that area. You can't see them until it's too late. If you have a leader, it's fair to assume the second car might have been pacing behind hoping to see the lead car brake. But it sounds like nobody detected the dragon eye from behind.

Thanks - can you please elaborate? "You can't see them until it's too late"?

How....it's an onramp? I might just be a stupid penguin!

They sit on the back side of the overpass at the top of the on ramp. As you approach, Brock Rd blocks your sightline.

So top of this on ramp, here?

Even with rear jammers we'd be ****ed as our brake lights would go off!
