My question is what I believe to be a simple one...
The firmware update I did to my new R7 went with any problems, but I'd like to know the meaning of the update name title.
R7 (Updated 06/12/2019 R7_v124.124.111_db190402.bin)
What are the the significance of the first v124? I assume this is the firmware version...
what about the second .124 , and then the .111 and then a db190402 ?
One must be the Red Light Camera database version...?

thanks

To me the db could stand for Data Base or Date Built. 190402 = 19/04/02 = 2019 April 2??? that is just speculation

That does seem logical, I'll assume it's the date for the Red Light or Speed Cameras for now...

The first number set is the user interface, the second the DSP firmware, and the third is the GPS firmware, I think

It's always been my understanding the "DB" section pertains to the GPS database for things like RLCs and speed cams. This is periodically updated even though the remainder of the FW is not.
