"We have plenty of social media video, some of which seems to have tag numbers, to follow up on, but we really want people to come in, turn in the money and go on about their life without worrying about when the police are coming to find them," said Sgt. Robert Parsons, a spokesman for the Dunwoody Police Department.

Well, I would definitely stop and help clean up the mess but I can't say I wouldn't "tip myself for the volunteer work. I wonder how much money was recovered though as opposed to the amounted that "walked off".

Wonder how many will turn in some of the cash they gathered up and keep the majority of it , thinking if they turn in some of it,, worried about there tag and themselves on video.
Wonder how many are that smart to turn in some of it and not all to get off the list ??????????

a few people have been reported as returning it in. some guy with $2100. The serial numbers were not known so i doubt anyone would get in trouble if they didnt.

I witness a pickup from a grocery store yesterday. I mean the dude doing the pickup was easily 450 lbs he had a vest on but the vest covered only halfway down his ribs, his gutt was fully exposed. It looked like he was wearing the slopeing vehicle armor rather than a vest.

Sure his heart and some of his lungs would be protected but damn his gutt is fully exposed and even the bottom lobes of his lungs.

How does No One see this ....

Inside job ..

""Uhhh i acidently left the bolted irondoors which protect me from attack ". open

... obviously paraphrased.

REALLY ????

They say they have Video ... and from the descriptions from peeps that stopped to help themselves that sounds like at most ~ $5000 LEFT the truck
"A flurry of paper".

$175, FREAKIN' THOUSAND DOLLARs would look more like an avalanche !!

Picture $175,000 in Ones fives tens
There would be ZERO VISIBILITY and a few accidents as well.

Im sure the money was insured as well.

So far 6 peeps gave back ~ $4,100.00
Described as "mainly ones"

Thereby corroborating my "thoughts"

IT WAS AN INSIDE JOB that netted a firing or two and a $170,000 PAYDAY

... duh.

Nope, I had already left for the day.

I wouldn't have stopped anyway, to either "help myself" or the armored truck guys - too much liability and/or opening myself up to getting run over (have you seen the traffic on 285? Those people are crazy!!!).

They claim they lost $175k, and have recovered $4400 as of last night. I suspect that's it, but there is someone's dashcam video that has a lot of the license plates of the cars that had pulled over to clean up.
