@Dukes and @Brainstorm69,

Since you have adjusted the frequency on your guns, do either of you think that you could have adjusted another 950 MHz up?

My joke, "You have to crank it to 11." was not meant to be serious, but it does bring up an idea. When adjusting, do you think you have enough adjustment range to get a K gun that high or are you close to the physical limit of the adjustment device?

X2 on this. When I tested I was only able to get mine to 24.250 before it stopped alerting.
What if the R7 were designed to digitally cut off sharply at 24.250 but then actually allows detection at maybe 24.300 up to 27 GHz. (NATO K-band is 18-27 GHz)

That might be possibility except for the fact I also tested with a Ka antenna and tuned it down from 33.8 to 24.250. I didn’t see any alert on 25 GHz.

If you have your phone at the ready it won't do it again in 100 years! I've never seen anything close to that high either. That's crazy!

I used @Dukes MPH. I went too high and ended up in the Ka bandwidth. Both of them wiith the same gun. 33.8 then 34.7, 35.5.

I didn’t test the R7 this way, but Dukes rig was able to climb the frequency scale. If the R7 was able to do it, I’m sure he would’ve seen it.

The R3, DFR9, and Max were all between 24.245 and 24.255 before they stopped registering the K frequency.

If so, that can go back to the idea of there being a glitch in the firmware. 35.2 is not used much anymore but certainly can exist.

It's high but could be could be legitimate. We have a deputy here that shoots 24.226.

All, i'm still hoping to catch my unit display the Freq again. But I'm 10000% sure it said "25.200 Ghz" and what struck me odd was the 25.xxx. Since the original post, i have not seen it again, but I'm not changing settings incase it shows again, and it's related to my current settings and maybe a firmware bug maybe. Not sure.

In line with the double slit experiment, you will never catch it. :bang:

It just happened again, but this time it was 25.201 Ghz. Tried to get my phone to take a pic and it went away to quick. So it don’t stay on the screen long. Sorry no dash cam, or this would of been video recorded all 3 times.

I’ll get photo proof. I promise. I’m not going crazy. lol.

Is this happening in the same location, or just randomly?

Well if there were any doubters, pictures are the final word.
I sense you returning this to Uniden for a repair or replacement.
Uniden support should chime in on how this may be possible.

May keep it as a once in a lifetime RD thats unique. Haven’t contacted @UnidenSupport regarding this, i wanted evidence first, and the community to chime in.

And it could be in the firmware. Didn’t start until the latest firmware was installed. But I’m not messing with any settings in case Uniden wants to reach out and troubleshoot.

Yeah, I would say this would need to go in for repair. There is nothing that can cause this within normal functioning of the unit.

Here's the info on how to send it in: Uniden - Online Repair Form
So Firmware wouldn't be a causing issue for this? Well when I send it in, make sure the horns are good and HOT, for more sensitivity. Lol, J/K. I'm a Low Serial, so hopefully mine will be easy to spot in the batch of Repairs :)

I know, but it's so hard to do so, as i feel i have a very unique RD that can Detect 5G AirWaves. I read somewhere 25ghz is reserved for 5G?
