I met up with @drtoddw today and we did some testing on my TMG 3 head system, we did a total of 5 runs starting at around 1400' against his TrueSpeed S with 0 PT, we then did a total of 4 runs against his DragonEye on the same course starting at around 1400' 1st run PT was at 223'. 2nd run PT was about identical. 3rd run PT was at 500' and the 4th run PT was at 201' I did Power cycle between each run and drtoddw did trigger on/off while trying to acquire my speed. I myself and drtoddw were both pretty impressed with the performance of my TMG and again a BIG THANKS to @drtoddw for taking time out of his day to test my system.

Nice!! Looks alike a solid install :). Drtodd is a good shooter too. The powercycle between runs with DE still seems like a good idea.

Center of mass and head lights. Was he just aiming at the center of the car or did he hit all around the front... Knowing drtodd I suspect he did 1 shot at each headlight one CM and one either trick shot like mirrors or roof... Or he hit the spot that was weakest a second time.

Okay now I understand and yes drtoddw said he was shooting everything you just said plus he said he even took some tire shots. The road was flat and straight, weather was clear, he was shooting my truck as I was coming straight at him with his lasers mounted on a tripod type stand.

Here is a pic of the street we did the testing on, I was going in the direction of the arrow starting at the corner/curve and drtoddw was where the orange dot is.

Thanks for meeting up @Spearscrue

@thebravo covered how shooting is done pretty well. I'll add I did use a monopod to steady the TrueSpeed S and used the roof of my car for the Full Size Dragon.
Note: I shot Headlights, top of vehicle, tires, side mirrors. .. Any spot I could think of.
Once I got the punch through, subsequent shots over various runs were fairly consistent. I was surprised at the the one 500' punch through but I could not repeat it in subsequent runs, even shooting at the same spot on his vehicle.
Since the Dragon is not something he will currently come across in Michigan (that I'm aware of), he should be pretty well covered. Even out of state, the punch throughs were such that he should be covered at longer distances with center mass. PTs came on areas that are known weak areas (edited to not give any ideas to the opposition) As he got under 100 ft or so, any shots would punch through. Pretty much what I've seen with TMG in other testing of good installations at ~200ft on like-sized vehicles.

Ok, thanks. I was just curious where the PTs were coming from.

How's the weather up there? I'll be up there in another month and a week. Can't wait!

Summer finally showed up about 2 weeks ago, it's been in the mid 80s and my opinion is we have had a wet summer so far.

Hot and humid... Not "Texas Hot" but mid 80s to lower 90s. The big issue has been the rain; it seems to rain every day, but it's usually over quickly. Lake Michigan water Temps are already in the low 70s so by the time you're here, it should be almost perfect for those with Southern water temperature expectations. ;)
