What's new in this release?

* Added CSA police report logging and heat maps
* Added quieter volume level selections for bogey lock tone and auto mute
* Added V1 legacy mode check and report (legacy mode not supported by JBV1)
* Added A2DP connected/playing indicators on top of speaker icon
* Updated camera database (26 June 2019)
* Bug fixes

Please note that, when enabled (the default), ALL CSA police reports in your vicinity are logged, even if you're not alerted to them (not ahead, not on the same road as you, whatever). I'll probably be tweaking the heat map representations of this data (blue) as I build up logged reports myself.

When your device is BT connected to another device for media audio, you will see either a STOP symbol ( ▢ ) indicating audio is not streaming or a PLAY symbol ( ▷ ) indicating audio is streaming, on top of the speaker icon. I intended to make this optional but forgot. Will fix in next regular update.

What will you think of next??? With the CSA police reports, will it just be Red LEO (Confirmed) in the log? Red are almost always there, Blue, sometimes?

Also, Love the Heatmaps, and I love the traffic (and I didn't think I would). Can you, we, configure the layers to have heat map on top of traffic layer?

Everyone get your donations in!!!

Alert map heat can be configured to show all logged alerts, or only those with 1/2/3+ confirmations (thumbs ups).

Alert log map heat shows all logged alerts. I may add an option similar to the alert map one to filter on confirmations.

Both maps show the police heat map as blue, and I can't make an overlay appear on top of the traffic overlay (which is why I added the traffic overlay toggle).

Would you consider an option to only manually log CSA?

Looks great; thanks for the effort!

Not at the moment. I don't think there would be many takers on manually logging alerts, and I know I don't want to do it that way.

I forgot about the A2DP streaming indicator. Please see OP for that description.

I've been wanting some of these features for so long. Can't wait to try these out on my 400 km drive in a couple of days. Thanks again, I'll be sending another donation shortly!

@johnboy00,
Would there be any negative impact to reducing the shut-down time for JBV1? My wife is often half-way across the parking lot before I get out of the car. (I wait for JBV1 shut-down by itself before disturbing my phone.) It looks like the current shut-down time is 15 seconds, but reducing it to 10, 7.5 or even 5 seconds would be nice. Thanks.

I don't wait. I lock the screen and put the phone in my pocket. I can't walk fast enough for it to think I'm still driving, which would trigger the reconnect logic.

However, someone else requested a longer timeout not too long ago, so I'll probably be adding an option that will include shorter and longer timeouts.
