I don’t see that happening. Low power guns are the mfgs answer to those that have detectors. And they - LEO’s still have instant on, lasers and cameras.If for some reason radar detectors became super popular again, states would move to ban them nationwide due to the drop in revenue, as with alot of other instances that have occurred, once something becomes popular, it gets outlawed.
That'd be nice, but I'd hate to think of the cost of that level of sophistication in such a small market as radar detectors. I just bought a new phone at $NZ1400, I imagine the detector we're discussing would be $3000 - $4000kI was thinking more about things RD-specific like achieving perfect BSM filtering, frequent updates, gorgeous UI, building better mounts with things like power cables integrated into the mounts, full RDD immunity, having lockouts shared between devices, and things like that, but yeah, apps are great too.
