Cobra iRadar Help (2 Viewers)

Hello everyone,
I got my Cobra DualPro 360 2 days ago now but I have difficulties of connecting it to my Android cellphone. The unit (Cobra DualPro 360) is already paired to my android phone but in the Cobra iRadar apps it says disconnect. Do I need authorization from Cobra company? This unit does have a 3 months subscription included from the package & I already purchased a 3 years subscription in it. Anyone knows why I can't connect it to my android cellphone? Thanks

This 3 screenshot in one file shows that it's already paired to my phone but when I check the "Devices" it doesn't show the DualPro 360 name so that's why it shows "Disconnected?"

Paired != Connected

Try unpairing the device, then restart the app. If your RD uses Bluetooth LE, manually pairing it to your phone may cause problems.

Edit: I see now that the screen says to put your device in pairing mode, so it does NOT use LE, and my advice probably won't help you. Sorry...

Yes I know.....also I've seen that there's no unit info of DualPro 360 connected in the Cobra iRadar apps....here's the fresh screenshot.

When you paired it, did you manually pair it before running the app, or did you pair it from within the app? If the former, you might try manually unpairing it and then pairing it from within the app.

One other thought...do you have the latest iRadar version? Has the app been updated since the detector came out? It would be just like Escort to release a new product without updating the app to recognize it....

The app was last updated Aug 2018 (at least for Android)...predictable.

I think I need to wait the SmartCord USB because the package that I've received have a missing item of SmartCord USB so I can't update my unit to my computer using "Detector Tools Pro" in able to update my detector in a latest firmware. I've already called them (Cobra Company) yesterday and they already send it....will received it very soon.

Oh wow, if it's been that long since an update (nearly a year), chances are the app doesn't yet support the new detector. It might be worth bringing that up with Escort/Cobra...

Did you update your fireware? Is the SmartCord USB included in your package?

Oh wow, if it's been that long since an update (nearly a year), chances are the app doesn't yet support the new detector. It might be worth bringing that up with Escort/Cobra...
if you dont mind i would like to pass this on too. i'm not saying i would get better results but maybe if enough people are saying it

Nope, I don't have a new iRadar apps. According to their email yesterday that they've already uploaded the new apps. What I need to do is to uninstall the old version and install the new version...but there's no new version in google store the one they have in the google store is the same with the old one!
I called them again today regarding the download cable because it's not included in the package so they send me 1 today....again I ask about the new iRadar apps and it says they are fixing with lots of changes including the new icon color...so their new version of apps will be a "Version 1" It also saying at 1st within this week it will appeared in the google store then he said that they are now uploading it. I don't know which one is correct the one who emailed me yesterday that they're uploading it yesterday....then change tone that he said it's already uploaded it today? Just make sure that they did not make me a basketball!
By the way the version of my Android is Version 9.

Nope...it's still not in the play store. That red apps Cobra iRadar that you seeing in the screenshot is the old one. Can't see the new icon that they are talking about. That old one is not working.

Android, I just pulled the trigger on a cobra dualpro 360 from Amazon to try it out. If I like it it'll stay if not it goes back. Tired of waiting on V1 to get it together.
