From time to time I get a 34.563 false. There's never a cop around and it's a weak signal, never over 3 bars. A couple of days ago I watched the arrows closely and they switched as a white Jap ute approached and then passed behind me. It's highly unlikely it was a cop.
Any ideas?

Make and/or model might be useful to look up if their BSM systems or otherwise for some reason are using Ka band.

I've had a few around there as well, also considerably more on 33.8. I've actually been seeing more RD's around lately, which is somewhat interesting given current events. I wonder if some retailers have been having sales on certain RD models.

Strange, leaky Cobras tend to be more towards 33.8 territory

Others have been seeing assumed falses in this range. Maybe there is something new out there?

I'm going to increase my sweeps and see what I find. :)

I doubt anyone is using Ka for BSM's, I don't think it's legally permitted.
I'm going to need a swivel neck to check arrows and car ID. I'll give it a try.

Strange falses, while GT360 is in the shop, been using my ProSe and am seeing a lot of X band falses on the freeway. Come up fast @ full alert then either stop or switch to K. Thinking possibly a bug in FW that picks up K BSM and displays X then switches to K? There’s no ramp up then they dissipate or switch. Strange.

Slightly off topic but i have a question regarding laser falsing.

This weekend i had laser falsing on 4 or 5 occasions. First when driving at night, clear sky and full moon, I would change directions around a bend and bam! off goes the laser alert. I did notice that each time i was pointing toward the moon which was fairly low in the sky but this was probably a coincidence. The last false was during the day under no unique circumstance from what i could tell, open road and blue skies. My R3 is attached to the underside of my sun visor which is angled down by approx 10 degrees to the horizon.
Is laser falsing typically a common occurrence?

Falsing was common on V1's, less so in recent models. I am surprised you're getting falsing on the Uniden, they're not the best for laser detection.

I'm yet to confirm this but it's probably just my phone mounted below the R3 which triggers it (Samsung S8 - from the IR sensor reflecting off the windscreen) from what I've read elsewhere
