Finally got the chance to install 2 heads (of four) on my mustang. Hopefully someone could help me test my setup! I live in SC, so I wanted to keep this install as low profile as possible (sometimes these parking sensors can be mistaken for laser jammers). The outsides of the TMG heads are 30 in. apart. Excuse the dirty car, I just got it back from the shop and went straight for the install. Since I installed using Sugru (on the actual head), the heads are not easily adjustable, however, the good news is that I can shim up or down the plastic lip that the heads are installed in to correct vertical alignment issues. As for alignment left/right, oh well I hope I got it straight. Overall, I'm happy and it is very inconspicuous. I just need to change the double-sided VHB tape that holds the R7 to a darker color so it is more discreet.

The finished product:

The install:
I found this interesting hollow lip, that was just big enough to insert the heads into, so I decided to dremel it out, and use sugru to hold everything in place.

I realized after finishing that this lip I chose to install the heads in had a purpose... To hold the cover, shown below... So I had to go back and dremel out notches.

Used 3M Dual Lock for the CPU.

I also have a question:

Since these are installed directly in front of the fog lights, do you think I should leave them turned off? Will the heat from the fog lights, or the extra light intensity mess up the operation of the heads?

Great install can’t wait to see your test results! I don’t see any reason to leave the lights off I have the brightest LED headlights+fog lights ever and I’ve tested with them on they don’t have any effect on performance!

Heat off of LED lights is negligible and lights won't harm. They might actually help cuz you'll blind the cop when he's tryna shoot you

Nice job! Very ingenious spot. Can you show a close up view of one of the heads front on with the Sugru? Looks great from the distant shot, but curious how well the Sugru made it look in the end. Let us know how it tests.

I think these might be halogen lights, would that matter?

Yeah it's really hard to tell. If they're stock they're likely halogen, which operate at ~250°C but normal driving will dissipate a lot of the heat. Is the lip the TMG is mounted to plastic?

Parking sensors?

TMGs aren't parking sensors nor are they advertised as such. They are laser jammers and are advertised as exactly that and only that. That statement can be very misleading for people.

Exactly. That's why I refer to my TMGs as parking sensors.

I don't know anything about laser jammers, but I installed them as parking sensors, and they have been working just fine.

Please do explain since TMG doesn't have parking sensor functionality. I'd love to see a video of the parking sensor function you're saying works just fine on your system.

In legal terms, i guess he wants them identified as "parking sensors" TMG a-15 does not have a parking sensor feature, although we are working on an industry first feature.

That's great, if they actually were parking sensors. That functionality is a determining factor for some in purchasing jammers. According to his posts that function exists and works.

ETA: I'm not trying to derail this but he's misleading people.
