I've had a decent cockpit for a while in my car. Hardwired r3 up high and tmg CPU down low. It was functional.

But, I just got back from a 2 week road trip and ended up with a surprise free day. In addition to that, my new Viofo a119 had arrived after an rma, oh and I still hadn't set it up my new to me V1 in the main car.

Spent the past couple hours just hardwiring the dash cam and the valentine. It's so satisfying to have a clean nice install. I have everything I need right where I want it. V1 and Uniden are up high and out of sight. Dash cam is in the perfect spot and nothing interferes with my visibility. They're also well hidden under a tint strip, something I got installed earlier this year. I highly recommend getting a tint strip on windshields for the looks, the hiding of CM's, the heat and glare reduction, etc.

Just wanted to share and maybe motivate some of y'all to get out there and tidy up your setup. It's so worth it!

Ps: I just took a quick pic so it's not perfect quality or detailed but I am kind of proud of the setup :). Also, the tmg jammers are by the shifter but I didn't change anything there so no photo for now. Check out my install thread for that if you're curious.

Nice! I appreciate a nice clean setup as well! I was installing my TMG quad setup today but didn't start early enough, and it got dark on me. Only got the front heads done.

Thanks! Definitely worth taking your time though especially on the fronts. I probably spent twice as long as I could've doing my front dual install. It's really important to not damage any seals when going through the firewall and that stuff. I quadruple checked that I made a proper drip loop and even sealed the grommet up with silicon when I ran my cables.
I try to allocate lots of time when doing any work in the garage because I like to take my time and do things right.

Is that an R3 and R7 side by side?

Looks great! I was in the same boat. I just bought a R3 and could not stand the cord as well as losing my 2 port usb charging port for my stuff. So I wired mine up the other night and it feels so nice having the car back to normal but with a new toy in it.
