Whatever your speeding style , the question is : can you avoid tickets with waze alone ?
Are you willing to endure/understand all the "noises" a rd do ?
I know some people prefer tickets than learning ...

Also helpful on 2 lane highways when you're not speeding, but come up on someone who is going too slow and need to pass them. If your detectors' going off, don't pass them because you're going to need to speed to get around them quick enough.

I've gotten saved like this before, and in town. Where I was stopped and or/ not speeding but if my detector hadn't alerted me, I would have gotten on it when opportunity presented itself and got nailed

Not to say experienced leos know/abuse those hot spots ...after my first ticket for speed (@18) i swear to always drive with a rd , banned area or not ...50 years of experience prove me i was right.

Give them the least chance to skin you.

If I'm going to be a fish in a barrel, I'm going to be an alert fish in a barrel.

The person in question for the original post would have no use for Waze, as the user base in Montana seems basically non-existent. However, in a more Waze-populated area I would say definitely. I think if I had known of Waze before getting a detector and finding this forum, that may have been a question I'd have asked myself.
