I received my TPX laser jammers today and I quickly installed them on a 2019 Spyder F3s.
One of these: View attachment 121395

I threw all of the guts in the front trunk, stuck in a spare motorcycle battery, and quickly VHB taped the heads to the front.

No leveling.
No aiming.
One was toed out and down while the other was toed in and up.

I tested in the neighborhood on a 900-foot course.

TSS: JTG
DEC: PT @ 176 ft

Crazy good results for spending 10 minutes taping on heads with zero effort to aim.

Not bad results considering as you said, you just threw them on there. TPX may have something going here as some of the early test results look promising. Should they decide to move into the four wheel market, this could be an interesting year.

Yeah, definitely good results for a quick stick and shoot. Thanks for sharing!

Seems like several good options on the horizon this year.

That’s pretty awesome. Imagine what would happen if you put some effort into it.

Where do you think you’ll mount it on your bike? Any thoughts?

Those results are stellar. For those who don't know, @studio1930 is one of the best shooters out there. You can bet he was stable and trying his best for PT.

The Ducati is gonna take some thinking, LOL.

Wow those are impressive results! Thanks for going out and testing. It makes me feel better because I’m the back of my mind, I always wonder what if my results are a fluke and everyone else will see different results, haha. Glad to see it’s performing well for you too!

Not bad, but the Spyder doesn't lean like a bike so the heads stay flat. We'll see how it does on a bike that jumps and dives and leans. :) Obviously way more official testing yet to come.

Wow! That's actually a really nice compliment coming from you! I've seen your deadly sniping, I'd hate to face his!

To test if you will be protected make sure you are shooting at the drivers helmet. If the sensitivity is good you will still be protected there which is a big target. When we ran Jammer testing in NJ that is only where we would target and show separation between products.

Also please be careful out there... One of my oldest and best customers (Member: FJR1300) used Jammers on his bike and he was invisible in all tests and I am not sure if that is what make him push his limits too far but making a curve too fast cost him his life so please take care while using countermeasures on a bike.

I can't stress this enough. When we are on 2 wheels there is no cage to protect us in the event of a wreck. Please use care and common sense when riding with countermeasures. I'm not saying that's what caused FJR1300 to lose his life. What I am saying is that I would hate to see anyone get injured in any way from being overly confident while using countermeasures. Know your limits and never ride faster than your angel can fly.

Well aware of all that you mentioned. Motorcycling for thirty years including racing on tracks and thirty years as an engineer figuring out how to build and break things. I'll have formal testing with information about the complexities of protecting motorcycles when I have completed my tests.
