I thought maybe it is handy to create an overview of cars that cause a false alert on the pro M:

I get the most falses from:
1. Nissan Leaf -> MRCT
2. Nissan qashqai > MRCT
3. Toyota CHR > MRCT

I assume it is going to be the same for the RCM?

On video, Jon mentions newest Mazdas CX5 and the like. I agree. But not all the time. Or all the time at a great distance using their recommended settings.

You need to state on what band it falses. K band only or also using MRCT/MRCD?

Where I am there is countless MRCT so I have to have that on. I get falses on that for some cars with BSM.

Overall the Pro M does surprisingly well with handling BSM.

From my personal experience, the Pro M and RCM it's the 2018 and 2019 CX5's only.....

I’ve seen weird stuff like that a few weeks ago.

A 2 or 3 year old CX-3 would set it off. The new ones didn’t seem to.

The 2 or 3 year old CX-5’s seemed fine, then bang. The newest ones were alerting.

It’s like they messed around with the parts bin.
Weirdest thing. That’s just what I’ve seen recently.

If your talking MRCD false’s, there’s a few. They’re more prominent.

I haven't seen CX3... perhaps they're just not common here? I've experienced the '19 Buick Enclave, 2018/19 Escalade and the 2019 XT4 (I think it's called?) Occasional semi (Volvo) and that's about it. Driven 30,000 miles with my RCM across 25 states and 2 provinces in that time. Not saying that's a perfect representation of falses but those certainly are the main ones for me.

The CX3 is much more popular in Canada than the US.
Sales:
Year US Canada
2015 6,406 6,861
2016 18,557 9,354
2017 16,355 10,938
2018 16,899 12,445

Considering the US is nearly 10x the population of Canada, that's a lot of Canadians liking the vehicle.

The new CX3 has updated their BSM that alerts to fast approaching vehicles. I'm wondering if that means it has to ping further out with a stronger signal.

Despite driving in the Chicago area I shut MRCT/MRCD off because of the false alerts on the highway
