OMG I came here just to comment on the lock icon.

I was confused. I do like the green-only for "public". Maybe some countermeasure-themed iconography?

Say, Full "signal bars" for Advanced?

Otherwise, leave simple. Simple is better.

I was thinking about just putting a normal signal bar (RDF style) instead of the lock icon, actually. But the color coding system is really the best/easiest identifiable method to it - I don't want to complicate things too much. Hell, we're already having this discussion about a simple lock icon, more complex is not always better ;).

Great Job! Thanks for the updates!
Boy, If I had deuteranopia it would look pretty much the same to me.

What about replacing the icon with just a color-coded background in the header?
eg:

I've considered coloring headers/etc for security level indication and may add it to certain parts of the site in the future but if we did just a single color coded header without any explanation on the header itself, 90% of the forum would have no idea what it means (nobody reads announcements anymore),...

It's fine, I'm replacing the padlock icon and it'll be a-okay.

PS You may want to narrow the kerning quite a bit on that lettering, as they can encroach on other elements.

The mobile fixes which are being merged in now (I'll let you know when they are pushed to production) have the overlapping issue solved.

Mobile fixes are merged in, CMS is now active, security headers are updated (these are the final ones, not changing them again, already changed them 4 times, lol).

Damn, so close with the basic dark theme configuration I did a while back. Just need to make a few tweaks to certain items that have changed since I last configured it...

Wow! Great Job!

I'm a little slow on the uptake, though. At first I thought RDF opened a pub?

Head smack. Shows where my mind is drifting. Perused a couple of articles. Blown away.

Thank you!

Deactivating cloudflare reverse proxy temporarily.

Deactivating cloudflare reverse proxy temporarily.
I created our own custom Anycast-based Litespeed web application firewall node cluster, it should actually work better than Cloudflare for serving dynamic content - if so we'll keep this enabled for dynamic content and keep Cloudflare enabled for static content, that will be the best of both worlds.

I am changing our nameservers over, this should be a seamless transfer but I'll keep an eye on it in case something FUBARs...

Tell me if the site appears to be any snappier as of this moment.

It does, actually. I noticed behaviors before like the header banner on mobile showing briefly before everything shifted up to cover it. That example is no longer occurring!

After having moved around a bit through the forums, I can tell you it absolutely feels much quicker and more responsive. “Snappier” is a great way to put it.

Cool, I am about to implement the custom anycast firewall I created. I'll do that overnight so if something goes wrong it won't affect many people.
