Glad Uniden finally admitted that the same RLC camera database works on all R and DFR7/9 models.

When were they hiding that? R3 and DFR7 used to receive the same db just like we have in the latest release. Since the newer update tool for the R-series can handle both FW and DB on the same .bin file, they began bundling the db updates with the firmware update of the R-series and no separate db were being released. In this case, it seems like there was no FW update available so they released the DB as a stand-alone.

I do not recommend using the DB updates from the R1/R3 for the R7 unit.

Don't be too hard on them, their customer service person was probably being overly cautious, and didn't realise the database was factually identical for the different models. Also bear in mind to some degree they were correct in that the US Uniden files will not work on a Uniden NZ detector and visa versa.

I'm also attaching a refreshed version of the above file. When reviewing one of the positions my code highlighted for a review I hadn't noticed had a duplicate. Looks as though Uniden added in speed and redlight alert for a camera I had built in earlier. No danger if people have already installed the above file, but here is the corrected one without those duplicates.
