Just guessing (but an educated one as I lived in GA for 15 years)she probably got hit with laser and a RD won’t help.

this video shows how bad Georgia is .

Also is the range on that STI driver horrible or I am just spoiled with the R7?

Georgia just sucks. I drove down there a few years ago with my wife and son and literally got pulled over within the first mile of crossing the state line. He was trying to convince us to take our son out of his seat to search the vehicle. I respectfully declined and asked if he was serious. Got about another hour ahead and got pulled again. Same deal. I laughed and said 'I already told your buddy no.'

Got tailgated by cops, stared down at gas stations, had them turn around and follow me. Guess a 4 door Jetta with clear untinted windows, no modifications, quiet exhaust, a man woman and child in a carseat tethered in center is suspicious as hell. I don't even like connecting flights via the Atlanta airport.

Hey that range is what I would consider normal to good compared to what I see in WV. R7, R1, Pro M, V1, Redline, x50. No crappy detectors here, just tough terrain (I guess.)

Dang, that some serious hassle there. Have you installed a dash cam?

Thanks for the update! Any details of how she got it reduced or did they propose it?

she said she just showed up. The lawyer wanted 1k to represent her so she decided to just go by herself. I would imagine it was the luck of the draw.

Yep, just showing up helps if it's a first case and if you have a clean driving record (no points not no tickets, don't follow my lead). Plus, they know she's coming from out of state and what she wants so they give it to her because the super speeder fine goes to the state, not the city. They only want what benefits them ;)

If that were the case, it could have gotten her out of the ticket, or at least reduced from the start...

So in GA this Super Speeder thing is a set limit based on road type instead of an amount over the PSL?
