Which detector tools did you use to check? Windows or Mac? I'm not sure, but I wonder if it's available in this Mac update...

Beware that multiple users are all reporting that all user settings are lost after the update.

Why not release an update right before a big holiday weekend where most people are driving to a destination. What could go wrong?

I can't believe Escort would release it with no note.

Has anyone tried a 360 yet to see if one is available there too (not it!)?

Detector Tools Pro says my non-LE Max360 has the latest firmware (v1.10).

Any who has the update, is there the auto kill for the ZR/W5’s? It would most likely be in the ZR3 menu setting, unless they finally renamed it.

Sorry for those who updated and lost their settings.

Yes, By now one would think ER would better utilize release/update notes.

Alot of times I think Escort does that on purpose if you think about it... we the enthusiasts are the ones who find out about updates first.

My experience with product managers is that they often set dates to kick things out the door by, and unless there's a known issue that will cost the company significant money, they ship it whether it's issue free or not. Then they can point to their successful ability to release product on time during their review.

Now what I'm really curious about is if Escort Live will survive the long holiday weekend. Historically this has been a challenge for Escort that's not fixed until Tuesday when everyone comes back to work, customer's be damned.

Before the 'C' series I would agree with you, but now with the 'auto downloads' the general user seems to get it at the same time or before us!

I am interested to see this as well. I am not planning on traveling but will pull it up from time to time just to see if there are any issues.

Yeah with wifi automatically updating the C everyone gets it... but to be silent about it and what is included with update is unexceptable... it happens to often... I think it just Escort carrying a chip on their shoulder for the enthusiasts.

Could just be a running change to facilitate manufacturing, just like v1.7. We’ll know for sure on Tues or Wed next week.

any news yet on the ZR5 auto kill in the new FW update yet?
I just checked the detector itself. No changes, just the original 3 options. Maybe next time (

RoadDogg:

I just hooked up my Max360c to Detector Tools Pro via the cable, and it states my Max360c is up to date with firmware 1.8. I have a PC (non Apple) running windows 10, so it appears Detector Tools Pro still doesn’t have the firmware 1.9 update on a Windows based computer.
