Hi, all.
This is the first time I had K band I/O (or maybe Q/T?). The alert was only 3 seconds long, so it was definitely a quick one. I was driving at 70 on 60 PSL and about few seconds before the alert I let go of the gas (as I always do when approaching a bend/overpass or cresting a hill), so when I got alerted I was at about 65-66 MPH. The LEO did not come after me, as most of them would not care for 5-8 MPH over. I actually recognized the vehicle as a LEO about a second or 2 before the alert.
So do you guys think this was a Q/T or just a typical I/O? Also, I wonder if my "rabbit" (the vehicle far ahead, entering the curve at the beginning of the video) was a target as well. If this was a straight strech, maybe I could have picked up that shot as well, but most likely not that far into the curve, plus the slight uphill there)...

That was classic I/O. A Q/T shot would only last as long as the leo can trigger the gun and release on off,on off, which if he's good only takes maybe a half of a second or so! The CR97 will eat both Q/T and I/O up as good or better than any detector ever made! The CR97 also has great response with the latch time as well so it releases the alert as soon as it goes away. An Escort on the other hand will hold the alert much longer making a Q/T shot act like an I/O shot.

TFSR was OFF. XK Filter 3. FDSr ON.

On a flat straight road I had a 1.5 mile K band speed sign detection with the same settings, and about 2 miles on 34.7. That is as best as I have seen it in regards of range. But my usual commute has plenty of bends and hills, so most of my detections are less than a mile (0.5 - 0.8 range). Sensitivity is there, but the off-axis is weak, so mostly relying on reflections...

That's the same thing I see with my CR95 and 97. They both kill it on straight shots for miles, but are weak on off axis. They very much remind me of my V1.
