I've run my R1's and Redline against each other several times against my Genesis 2 35.5 gun. I've run them together and apart and the Redline is as good or better! On 34.7 my R1's are just a tick better. The only way the R1's pull away some is on extreme off axis, but it's still very close! I'd still get rid of both my R1's before I'd sell my Redline even though they are much better at filtering K band.
I feel the same way. Not sure if my Redline is hot or not, but it has had some crazy off axis detections, that I feel it was on par with my R3, but not my R7. My R7 is super crazy off axis.

My Redline has had some crazy off axis detections that my r3 never saw. In a straight line my r3 is more sensitive. Severe off axis I'ts no comparison. Redline wins off axis especially on 35.5.

Good! Glad to hear that your R7 is kicking @ss for you! I know damn well that my Redline is hot! It wasn't at first but after sending it back for repairs the last time I put a nasty letter in with it saying that I had wasted my money buying it! It must have pissed somebody off cause it has kicked @ss since I got it back a couple of years ago!

So at least I have 2 members that know/remember what the Redline O is/and can still do!

Edit: I know many people know/remember the Redline O, but as newer RD's come out, it seems to get pushed back, but yet it still out performs many newer Rd's in range.

If I could combine the uniden sensitivity with the m3 platform of off axis and over hill performance.... Damn

The M3 is good. Just needs some steroids to pump up the DB's a bit.

I was hoping that the Redline EX was going to be what the R7 is today....glad I waited.

Amen. The RedLine’s Off-axis 35.5 is tough to beat. It provided me many more advanced notifications than my R3 for off-axis 35.5.

Still running my Redline here, I trust it too much to give it up on the daily driver. I can live with the BSM falses.

The low power Stalker patrols units is what gives the close calls around my area. Of course Ka is king for the RL.

@Rocky Road, here are a couple of testing videos that @VariableWave and I did last Nov. with my Redline and R1. As you can see they are tit for tat with the R1 just a breath quicker! We also ran them seperately and got the exact same results!

My STI r in the truck just whips ka band around and hits it doggie style. This r3 I bought I'm still testing it, but the pickups have been lacking so far.
