This is a no big surprise for anyone that has used cobra, just more of an information experience report than anything. For 150.00 that's what you get as far as performance. In town or flat roads it will give enough warning if the cop is coming straight at you. Off axis or if coming up behind, I didnt have very good results. One weird experience was yesterday I was in the gym parking lot. Cop was parked three vehicles over. I got a 34.7 alert, what they use here, but it only held on for 4 seconds, lost the signal a couple scans and then alerted again. This went on for 2 to 3 three minutes. I noticed the same thing on k band. Using a different detector, in the home depo parking lot, the alert stayed strong, plug in the cobra, it would alert a couple times, then go silent a couple scans, then repeat. Nothing. In the settings I could find to explain this.

I am not sure I am buying this whole story... something sounds fishy...

Which RAD were you trying to have muscle up to the real world? Maybe there as a fight if it was legally allowed to use Escorts patient, I mean patent(s), and Corporate was fighting back?!?

You should run it another 3 weeks just to double verify the suckocity of it. Then repeat 2 more times to verify further ;)

I wouldn't be having that on the glass for 2 months. I'd have a hard time giving it more than a day or 2 for testing

I was busting on him, just in case he was a glutton for punishment. Gotta give props to those willing to take one for the team like that.

Yeah I figured. Much appreciated for testing out the not so stellar of units. Only way to know how they are is to test them. I ran one for a long time back in the day- it actually wasn't that bad
